Yeah, I'm in the big apple

I had a very long day yesterday. Got up at 4 AM to catch a train to the airport and only hit the sack 23 hours later in Hoboken, NJ. It struck me again that traveling to the US means you queue a lot. Security measures are such that I spent at least 3 hours of my day waiting in line while fellow travellers were being screened. I understand that this is necessary, but it is a chore nonetheless. Other than that the trip went as planned. I got to Hoboken about 2 PM local time and met up with my pal an hour later. I'm very fortunate to have a friend who lives in the NYC area. He lives an arms length from the Hudson and a few blocks from the Hoboken terminal (= quick access to Manhattan). I'll be off to the Bronx zoo in half an hour as I head to the Wildlife Conservation Society.
