problem registering DMX

I purchased DMX 4 through snowcovered and I'm trying to register through the Web Service but it seems like my license can not be found.  I'm installing on DNN 4.9.  I've entered my user account and invoice number.  When I register through the web service, I get a reply of Service date could not be parsed.  HELP!  Thx  BT

 Same problem - fairly frustrating.  I have an expired trial and all 3 registration methods return can't find license even though snowcovered and B2M emailed me the info.  I have 5.0.0 - don't want to upgrade to 5.0.1 in case something messes up.

Not overly impressed with the activation right now.

 Here is the exact error.  I have no idea where it is getting the activation key.  It never asks me for my account or invoice number for the web service method:

This has wasted almost 2 hours backing up, trying different sequences, searching the forums etc.  I am guessing I have to set the server date back to let it work until this is sorted out.  I have tests to run tonight.  There should be a sticky on this since I iimagine I am not the first with this issue.  The trial didn't activate correctly either.

 If you clear the Trial License box - it asks for your Account and Invoice Number, and after entering I get:

Service date could not be parsed

THEN - for the 4th time I select Use Web Post it echos the info:

 Account xxxxxxx89
Invoice A87C8776F7D340xxxxxxxxxx
Software DMX
Date  

Activation Key

No errors are returned, and it appears registered.  

Status now shows the correct Account and Invoice.

Still says Activated NO.

Will not let uploads happen.

Trying an upload gets:

The module has not been activated or there is an issue with the license. Check your licenses on your licenses page on www.bring2mind.net. Log in using the account you received when you first bought the product.

So it knows who I am now - just will not activate.  No dates anymore, so even modding dates doesn't work.

Fair warning to anyone else expecting an upgrade from trial to work afterhours!!!

 I am done.  Final try was to do the manual activation with the valid user and invoice as verified by logging into the B2M support area.  

The username is the same, and the "Invoice"  was copied directly from the B2M database. It is obviously still stuck on the trial license and date for some reason.

Still get:

[License not found. This can be because either:

1. The license was not yet added to the database

2. The supplied details (email, invoice etc) were incorrect][2008-12-18 03:49:57Z][25][FvaDQ0juiSf9VeIG9YYYOgbvdtoV7CI83/3YKOWchEQFQQCLNKmzDw==]

Dead in the water.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS - The product worked well when we were comparing to others, but this is terrible.

If it is an urgent issue like this please contact us through email. The support forums are great but for urgent matters it's better to email. My guess is that the license file has become read only. I'll contact you through email.

Peter got on this right away (early in the morning in Europe).  Thanks for that.

RESOLVED:

It turns out that if you don't use your EMAIL ADDRESS that you actually registered with, and NOT the Username for the B2M Portal and support forums it will work just fine.

SO - if you see any of the errors I posted above - you should double check you are providing your EMAIL and invoice number.  I had 2 email addresses and the new Username that came in the email when I bought at snowcovered. The one to use is the one that recieves the new user and access info from B2M.
