     I have:

    •    SQL Server 2000 (into machine A)
    •    DNN 4.3.7 (into machine B)
    •    IIS 5.1 (into machine B)
    •    Index Server (into machine B)
    •    DMX 03.04.08_NET2 (into machine B)

I can’t to search into the text of the documents, but the query’s of the Index Server it’s working.

I try to use the AdoSearch 01.00.03, but it’s not working. I can’t search anything into the documents.

I configured the settings of AdoSearch in the Tab Settings and I confirm that the ControlLoad key in DMX_Extensions is correct for the Comand.Search.

    What can I do more?

Not much. That's what usually works. Note the following:
    1. The existing content should not be called .resources or it won't index.
    2. You should be able to verify search results through the Indexing Service's own search screen (in the computer management console)
    3. Reset IIS if you're unsure if all changes have been accepted. It is always a good idea to make sure that your changes have been implemented at all layers of the .net application.

    Hi Peter,
I hope it's ok that I ask this question here. I am evaluating the DMX pro for my Dnn 4.4.1 install.
I've read some previous posts stating that the full text search would not work if your sql server was physically located on a different server than your web server. In mid 2006 you noted that you were testing a possible fix for this scenario...I'm thinking a fix has been implemented by reading the original post in this string of posts, however can you confirm for me that the full text DOES work now even when your sql server is on another box?
    Thanks so much,
    Jen

    Jen,
There is a fix in the form of the AdoSearch addon (downloads page here). Basically it replaces the search screen with one which uses the old logic I used before which didn't care about server location. It's only the 'new' and more efficient search code that seems not to work when the files and the SQL server are different.

ok, great! Granted it's not more efficient as you say, but at least the customers would still be able to search.
    Great, thanks for your response.
