I have several documents that users cannot access. When they click on a file they get a "This webpage is not available" in the Chrome browser, "The requested document was not found on this server." in Firefox and IE tries to download what looks like the path to the specific file, "Download_aspx?Command=Core_Download&EntryId=ent1263&Method=attachment&PortalId=0&TabId=63". I'm using Document Exchange version 5.3.8 and have not had any issue for over 3 years, this started happening about 2 weeks ago.

It sounds like an issue with the backend storage of the documents. Recent versions of DMX have a script included to check to see if documents have gone missing. You'll need to check the event log to see if you can find any details about this that gives an indication as to what is happening.

Thanks for the reply Peter. Is this a log generated by Document Exchange or DNN? Also where do I find the log files?

The "event log" is DNN specific and is found under the Admin menu. DMX also has logs (under portals/../DMX/Log) but they are more related to provide additional information. The event log would capture real exceptions if they occur.
