Can search results go to template pages rather than AJAX control 3365 1

Hi, We have an admin page that uses the AJAX control to load and maintain documents which is used by administrators only and you need to be logged in to access the page. We have a different page that doesn't require authentication that has DMX on it and uses the templated view (we needed to customize the display). We are using the Lucene search provider which is working. The problem is the search results wants to take them to the admin module which is on a page they don't have authorit...

Hi there Is it possible to do a search with DMX without having the standard DNN search module on the same search page I figured out if I take away the standard search module, the search function breaks. If I click the search-button nothing happens as long as this module is missing. Is the standard search module in any case needed Thx Oliver

When I search for in the simple search or dnn combined there are no results turned. I have a customer that is searching for 'sign in' no results show up. DNN version 5.6.3 DMX 5.3.8

Hi there I encounter some troubles with the DMX search results. Basically there is always a link pointing to the page where the DMX document exchange professional is included. Just right to that link there is the download-icon (small blue disk). The download-icon does work in any case, no matter if I am logged in or not. But the link does not if I am not logged in, and it shouldn't point into the DMX module. How can I influence this link Basically it should be the same link like the downl...

We are testing DMX5 on DNN 5.6. Is it possible to show the DMX search results along with the main DNN page results on the DNN search results page Basically showing them together on one page... I added DMX to the search results page and set it to display the Search control under Module Options. This shows the the results correctly but they are from 2 different modules. Hi,
I'm not sure if this a configuration issue or a bug in the DMX Search result (I added a DMX in the DNN Search result page). Searching the documents work properly. However the links of the search result redirects to homepage instead of the document details.

Hello Peter, We have installed DMX5 on our DNN installation. We have the document manager working manually. This means after registering on the web site you can navigate to the DMX area called 'publications on our site' then see the main folder (TemplateView) the client does not like the AjaxUI. We run a specific environment where all of our resources must be in Medium trust. We do have the ability to add things to the trust to make our own custom trust within reason though. I was wondering if there are any controls available to search by category. For example, a user wants to search all documents that are 'IT' and 'Requirements' - they would click the ('IT' and 'Requirements') checkboxes in the category tree and DMX would return those documents.

Hello, I have integrated DMX with DNN search and everything is working fine except one configuration point. When I put a word in the DNN search field, files, hyperlinks or even folders are being displayed. Hi Peter, since Version 5.3.3 we have the problem that SyncFolders seem not to be indexed. All Files & Folders added to the repository the standard way (i.e. manually created folders and uploaded files) Are indexed perfectly - search (site search aswell as DMX search) delivers many results, also from document's contents. But no content of any synced folder shows up in search results - it used to work, except DMX updates I didn't change anything... Any ideas on this Cheers, -Chris

Hello, Once a week sometimes twice a week DMX search will stop working. If you do a search it will bring back nothing. So I have to re-index the site which works fine. My question is why would the search stop so often Also could I schedule the re-index to happen on a daily or weekly basis I do not see anything in the program to do this. Hi,
we are running into an issue where if the user searches for a word that contains special characters, the search result doesn't return any results.
For example, there is a product called 'hi-gloss'; if the user searches for 'hi-gloss', no results are returned; if the user enters 'hi gloss' (without the minus character) the search works, although there are more documents returned than expected.
