We've setup the DMX module on the DNN search results page setting the default control to Search.ascx. It works but compared to the normal search inside the main DMX module it's only searching the title and not the contents. When we go to a DMX page and use the search from the toolbar it does search the contents. Is there any way to make the Search.ascx control search the contents as well?

Hi Dan, This is a setting on the Main Options of the module (include contents on quick search). Peter

was this moved because I don't see it in the latest version. I've run the script to include DMX in the search, and I'm still not getting any documents. I had in previous versions, but for some reason it doesn't work now.

Peter, At one point when I was playing with things, I put in another DMX module into the same portal. Then I found the extension you mentioned for displaying cats and removed it. I'm wondering if that somehow screwed up the search or something along those lines. I've removed the extra modules, but they're still coming up in the dropdown. M@

Hi Matt, I don't think the back-and-forth with the categories addon changed things. There is a setting on the main options (for quite a while now) to set whether to only search the title in the 'quick search'. If unchecked then it should search contents, author, keywords, remarks, and original name as well. Peter
