Installation/Activation
Please consult the Installation FAQ page on Bring2mind.net (under support FAQs) for the latest on installation issues.

Button visibility
The visibility of the various buttons on the toolbar can be more finely defined in the ascx files of this solution. This applies to the following files:
Search.ascx
ViewCategory.ascx
ViewCollection.ascx
ViewDetails.ascx
ViewSubscriptions.ascx
In each you will find a control called dmx:toolbar. This has a number of properties including a number that start with "ButtonVisibility-Command". These can be set to one of the following values:
True - Button will always show
False - Button will never show
Admin - Button will only show for administrators/hosts
Approve - Button will only show for those with approval/edit rights
Edit - Button will only show for those with edit rights
View - Button will only show for those with view rights
Note that the admin/approve/edit/view settings are hierarchical, i.e. an administrator sees all buttons marked with any of these values, the approval role users see edit & view also, etc.

Integrating with DNN search
You can integrate with DNN search by following these steps:
1. As an administrator type something in the search box and it will take you to the search results page
2. Paste a copy of DMX on this page
3. Under the DMX options, deselect all navigation bar buttons and set the startup screen to 'search'. Save options.
4. Go back to options and clear cache
This should give you a clean Document Exchange module which will display results based on the search string you type in the DNN search skin object.
