When a document has been approved, the corresponding e-mail notification is sent to a group of people. Neither of these people placed the document for approval and as such they should not receive any notification.

The group of people (in my little sample) all have edit rights.

I assume that this is not intentionally and therefore another bug, or is it something that result from the settings.

It appears that the e-mails are being sent to all users, and in volumes. The subject is repeating.

This is spamming.

I'll have a fix out by Monday. For now you can do the following: switch off the Notification engine by disabling the task under Host > Schedule or periodically run this: UPDATE DMX_Notifications SET Sent=GETDATE(). The latter makes DMX believe all notifications have been sent.
