Hello all,

Is it possible to disable the search functionality in the document exchange module?

I tried limiting the number of search results to 0 and disabling search in the admin menu (this however only removes it from the folder structure)

Alternatively is it possible to restrict searches to a certain subfolder?

You can take it out of the menu which will hide it from view. But a user can still "hack" the system by including "search=xyz" in the querystring and search DMX. But DMX will always respect the permissions set on content. So the user might find things that he/she is allowed to see in another folder. There is no way to say: this folder should not be searchable.
