Just installed DMX 5 module on site today. Have a security group for employees that I want to access and edit/add items to a folder. Setup security settings so employee users have all permissions. These users are unable to see the New Item button among others they should have when in/on that folder.

Any ideas?

Just reset menus, and run notifications in module settings of dnn and problem is now solved.

Note that DNN also caches your user's roles so that any changes there might not be visible immediately if they're still logged in.
