Does anyone know the maximum size of the synchronized folder in DMX? Can I make the root folder as a synchronized folder? Thank you

It depends on many many aspects of your environment. There is no fixed limit. It just doesn't scale. At one point it will become unworkable.

You can't make the absolute root a synchronized folder, no.
