Are there any limitations to folder-names in WebDav? One of my folders is called "Verktøy" (Norwegian for Tools). The document in this folder opens as Read Only and there is no LOCK request in Fiddler. If I rename it to Verktoy everything works fine.

It could well be the special characters throw it off. I'm not sure WebDAV supports anything else than ANSI. I'll make a note.
