We have a client who is planning on moving his hosting off of the DNN platform. Is there a way he can get an export of his files in the DMX library? Or where can I find where his repository resides on the file system? Can it be simply copied from the file system?

Go to Admin > Run Scripts on DMX's menu and you'll find an Export script. It writes everything to portals/[id]/DMX/Export.
