Entry object caching after changing user roles 1500 2

I'm using &91;entry:Canapprove&93; in my template to show a message if they have approval permission on a file. When I move a user into a role that gives them this permission (returned value changes from false to true) it does not update until I restart the application, or Increment the host version in the Server Settings > Performance tab. Multi file download limited to about 25 mb? 2720 0

We have some users trying to download a large number of files at once but they're finding they can't download more than about maybe 25 mb of files at one time. We looked through the DMX configuration settings but were unable to find a setting related to download limits. I know there are limits for uploads in IIS but didn't think there was a limit for downloads like this.

API calls are throwing 404 errors 2365 0

We had to do a restore to a DNN installation that included DMX. We got the site and the DMX module back up and running, but we are getting 404 errors when selecting Add File(s) or Add Folder or edit attributes on existing files. The module simply refreshes back to the main screen. When I check dev tools there are several DMX API calls that are throwing 404 errors. I've re-installed the module and checked permissions, but no luck. Looking for a little help. Thanks, Mark

Mail Me freezes screen after second request 2118 1

After the second request of 'Mail Me' (send yourself a file), the success message appears on screen, and then the display is frozen and won't respond to any click event. There isn't any error thrown to the console or the logs. This is DMX 6.4.0 on DNN 9.3.2. Is there a possible remedy

I'm trying to add a document thumbnail to a hyperlink. I tried both PNG and an ico file. The thumb shows in the Core Meta Data, but it doesn't show up in the folder document listings within the repository What am I doing wrong

DNN9 Template View Pager Causes 404 2326 1

DMX 6.1.6 on DNN 9.1.1. FriendlyURL in 'advanced' mode. I'm using the same templates that I used before upgrading from DNN 7, and DMX works fine if a collection contains only one page of documents. When browsing to page 2 or greater, DNN throws a 404 error. For example, the following URL is not found: /libraryEntryId=1046&sort=&so=&Page=2 Should I just upgrade to 6.3.2 or is there some fix for the template Thanks.

We are upgrading to DMX 06.02.04 on DNN 9.1.1, one of the new features that we are promoting is the drag/drop functionality in JSUploadProvider, during some testing it was found that while adding a new file, after you upload a file, if you click Cancel, an exception is thrown. The error below is being logged 100s of times a day sometimes and junking up the logs. If the error is not valid, perhaps there is a way to disable it Running version 6.0.4. copied templates do not include images 2970 0

When you copy the default templated view to one custom local one, all the icons are gone. This is because the link to the sprites, e.g. menu sprite is incorrect. If you replace the sprite paths in the default template: 2-template.css file from ../../../../ to /DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/ all will be good. PS I am very happy to see, there is a new modernized version of DMX!

Uncheck Serve Bootstrap checkbox not working 3375 2

As per subject. DNN 9.1.1 & DMX 6.2.3 Note that on half of our websites, we serve the Bootstrap CSS file, but not the Bootstrap JS file, so if the checkbox is ticked, the CSS file will be served twice, but the JS file will be served once and if the checkbox is unticked, bootstrap will be served once (good), but if DMX needs the bootstrap JS will not be served at all (that's if DMX actually needs bootstrap JS). CatShortList extension overrides existing css 3624 1

The CatShortList extension loads /DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/css/bootstrap.min.css. Unfortunately, this causes the styles of many elements to change in our bootstrap theme. Is there an easy workaround for this I'm trying to avoid having to brute force our theme styles with all sorts of '!important' definitions.

Hi, Is there any way to get the DMX What's New module to order by Date Modified and ignore if any of the file attributes have been changed At the moment if the file attributes have changed, the document appears at the top of the what's new module, however we don't want that to happen - only if a new file has been uploaded or replaced. We have the Document Exchange Module Ver. 6.1.9 installed on DNN 7.4.2 Our problem is incompatibility with Firefox and Chrome browsers. The tree-view folders structure is not showing at all in the Document Exchange module and in all of its extensions when using Firefox and Chrome browsers, it does work with the IE browser.
