    I was happy to make the upgrade to DNN4.5.3 and get the new feature for adding an individual user to the "edit" permissions without the need to create a security role.  This is not available, however, when assigning permissions to files & folders within DMX.  Is this a setting that I'm missing or is it not possible in DMX?

    Not yet. It will be implemented in DMX 4. Note that the security model of DMX is much more finegrained than that of DNN. I cannot just use the core permission structure.
