Can't create folder 15409 1
Started by DotNetNuke France
Hi Peter,
We removed our installation in order to re-install it to see if it would solve something, but it doesn't.&160;We are using DNN 5.1.4 with the latest public release of DMX.
When we click on New item then Folder, the following error occurs :
who is undefined var who2 = who.cloneNode(false); Default.aspxCommand=Core_Edit&CollectionId=0 (line 580)
At line 580, there is the function TabSelect.
Is there is any way to solve this
Cheers,
S.F.

Portal URLs with port numbers 7546 2
Started by Kevin McCusker
Hello,
I've got a question and I'm not quite sure where it belongs or if this is even an issue with the Document Library. We've been using version 3 (3.4.11) in our production and have never encountered any issues. We recently set up a new test environment that minics our production environment.
In our test environment, the portal URLs look something like this: http://123.45.7.890:00/portalname.
When uploading a file, adding a folder or even just clicking the 'Cancel' link button on the New I...

DMX3 newbie. Need help 6695 1
Started by John Lee
I inherited a site with DMX3 and am trying to get it to work. As far as I can tell, they never made any use of it.
I've got a test folder created. I've got my files FTP'd to the website. When I try to 'Import Content', the folder field will show the folder where the files are located. The problem is that it will not let me see/select the files to import. What am I doing wrong I am logged in as an Admin equivalent. I'm so close I think.
I'm actually overdue on my deadline for this.&160;I ne...

root folder and child [portals 7762 3

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the help with categories - the temp host access is set to work until end of Jan... would you please tell me where to set/how to set the root DMX repository for the site - complicated by having child portals, which change frequently, for separate security access for project related users.&160;
I installed the module on the parent DNN instalation. I first put the DMX module on a child portal (which you saw) and now need to add it to another child portal. But I am seeing tw...

How do I add more file types? 6549 1
Started by Rob Barefoot
I tried to Add Visio and Project Files to the recognized files types. I went in, hit the add button, found out the MIME type, added the images, and filled out all of the areas, but it's still not recognizing the file type, at least the new image isn't showing up...
Thanks,

Importing to Portal Root when a module instance has it's root collection renamed 6783 2
Started by nicholas smeaton
Hi Peter,
When you have an instance of DMX3 with a Root Collection which is different from the Portal Root, and renamed (say: '2007 - 2008 Downloads') - during a bulk import from the Service page, the first option in the Collection dropdown will say '2007 - 2008 Downloads (Portal Root)'.
This is confusing to users as it indicates that if they import to that location their files will end up in the Root Collection specified for this instance of the module.
The first item in the list would more ...

Document links opening incorrect documents 6046 3

This issues has been noticed on all subportals.
Is there a way we can link to a document in the document repository and be guaranteed that the correct document will appear&160;

Setting Root Collection not working 6070 3
Started by Rob Barefoot
Peter,
When I set the root collection for the module it is not setting that as the top level. It shows Root Collection,&160;or whatever I named it to the left, and then the parent folder to the right of it. Clicking on the parent folder brings me up to that level. I double checked and I did set the root level correctly (from what I can tell). Any help would be great. I can send you a screenshot if you need a better explanation.
thanks,
Rob

Download/Upload an entire folder? 6831 3
Started by Rob Barefoot
Peter,
I'm looking for a way to download/upload an entire folder, and keep versioning in-tact. Basically, I need my client to be able to select a folder and download that folder and all of it's children, and that folder, with all of the children, and maintain versioning information. None of the document/folder names would change in this process.
Is this possible in either V3 or V4 of DMX
Thanks,
Rob
