Issues with Subscription mail 4186 7

Hi,
I am facing a problem with the subscriptions. When I subscribe to a folder, it gets added to my Subscriptions. But I dont recieve a notification when there is any modification to the folder. I am not sure if there is any setting that needs to changed,
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
I have recently upgraded DMX from 03.03.01 to version 03.05.02. Since this upgrade, I cannot create any folder or item !
Every time I click on "New Folder" or "New Item", I receive this error "A critical error has occurred. Key cannot be null. Parameter name: key".
This is a real big problem for me and have no idea about any resolution of this problem.

Currently the users can subscribe to a collection manually.
Can you tell me if it is possible to assign a subscription automatically for all users in the role that has view rights This way the administrator could define what is important for the end user to get notification of updates from. The subscription is by this not depended of the end user action.

Hello,
When i click on the description of any document, internet explorer opens a new window
(/DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/Download.aspxTabId=416&DMXModule=1355&Command=Core_Download&EntryId=48&PortalId=7)
I can choose to open or save the file. When I close this new window and try to open any document or refresh the page, I loose the connexion and i must re-login to view the page!
It doesn't occurs when i click on the floppy disk image (save.gif).

Hi All...
I am having troubles with the subscriptions. I think I know the troubles, but I don't know how to fix it. It appears the problem is with the document link that is being sent out in the emails that the module is generating. When I first installed the module the website had a different domain name than is being used on the website. I have changed all the domain references in the DNN core, but for some reason the DMX module is still trying to use the old domain.

When someone subscribes to a folder, it is assumed that any new documents, folders and documents within the sub folders will be captured for notification alerts. This is happening for documents and sub folders, but not for documents within a sub folder.

It appears the "Categories" filtering is a little too inclusive. It includes documents that are outside of the defined root for the module.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Within the true root of DMX, create two subdirectories (collections) under the true root of DMX ("Collection1" & "Collection2"). Make sure that your test user has at least view access to both collections.
2) Create a new instance of the DMX module on a DNN page with "...

I'm not sure whether this post belongs in UI, but I am wondering if DMX 4 actually indicates in the UI that a document is "checked out" after it was downloaded to a client app and then "checked in" after the editing is complete.

For starters, I'm listed as the portal's admin by my real name, "Larry Gilbert." I log on to a different computer under a network account that is not my own and then log into the portal with DMX using a test account that is not my own. "Larry Gilbert" is not tied to this test account in any way. The account's user name is "test" and the full name of the account is "Test Account." This account does not have approver status.

Okay, I installed DMX in my DNN 3.2 server. I added a folder. Next, I added a Word document in that folder. Now I can't figure out how to update the document with a new version. I read the manual, but still can't figure it out.
When I highlight the document, the buttons I've got are:

Copy
Cut
Paste (grayed out)

Trouble with Moderation 4553 5

I cannot figure out how to utilize Moderation of Content. I specified an approval role in the Options. Maybe the problem is I don't understand setting up of all the neccesary roles.
I have a page that All Users can view with a DMX module on it (v3.4.11).
I have roles set up for viewing certain files - no problem.
Only users with Administrator roles can see all the controls in order to upload files. And after uploading, it shows that the file is approved.

Hi
I have a colleague who is placing hyperlinks to documents in Microsoft Word 2003 using the relevant hyperlink for a document in DMX e.g. http://intranet/Nationaldocuments/tabid/74/DMXModule/981/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspxEntryId=440
The problem is that when a link is clicked on, Word tries to be clever and just open the document in its relevant application and the file name is lost. My colleague would like the file to just download instead of open.
