    hi,

My site uses CSS for all its layout and the tables used in DMX 03.04.11 breaks some of the layout on my site.  Is there a CSS alternative version of DMX or can I edit the layout myself and if so, how?

    Hi Tony,
The css of DMX 4 is in DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/module.css. The tables' css can be found through the ascx's (like ViewCollection.ascx) that hold many css references. There are a couple of hard coded css class names, but they're all prefixed by 'DMX_' so they should never upset your existing layout.

Thanks for the response, do you have a version of the DMX that doesn't use tables or plan to move to CSS?

DMX uses CSS extensively. Not using tables is not an option. If you want complete freedom you'll need to look at alternatives for the ViewCollection.ascx. One idea would be to use the 'ShortList' addon freely available here. It displays just one collection but the ascx is a regular datagrid so you might use templating etc. Other than that you're looking at programming.
