This release contains the following visible changes:

Fix: Notifications not attaching document to email (DMX-395)
Fix: Notifications sent to all users (DMX-402)
Enhancement: Double check correct file transfer to storage (DMX-400)
Fix: WebDAV editing of entry in absolute root not possible (DMX-397)
New Feature: Add a script to analyze the state of the file storage rather than take immediate action (DMX-396)

DMX-402 was nasty as it meant a lot of users could have been notified of something they had no access to. Excuses for any mishaps there (05.03.06 is the only affected version for this bug). Note that those users could not actually download the document at all. That part of security was never breached. But the WYSIWYG paradigm was breached.
