ADSL and phone back up

There are quite a few things here that seem to take ages. Switzerland is known for taking things slow. People appear to have all the time in the world. Whether it's queueing up to pay in the supermarket (the cashier taking all her time to chat with the lady before you) or whether it concerns political change. But every so often you marvel at how quick and efficient things can go as well. I called the phone company last Month to inform them we'd be moving the 6th (a Saturday) and plaese could the phone be moved at the same time. He told me everything would be fine. So last Saturday I kept my fingers crossed. Sure enough at 8 AM my old phone line was dead. If the worst came to the worst, I'd have to use my mobile phone to get in touch with a company that was half shut down (weekend). I installed the network later that day and lo and behold: it worked immediately. Nothing to puzzle or debug. Just plug and go. It's great when things work that way.
