    Hi Peter,
Are there any reasons you know of (concerning DMX) why my ISP (PowerDNN) should not upgrade my DNN installation to 4.4.1 when it comes out?

    Never mind, Peter.

After giving PowerDNN a list of the different custom modules used on our site, they've recommended that we only upgrade to 4.3.7 and not 4.4.1.

    Hi Dave,
I'm monitoring this communication and I think they're correct in their suggestions.
DNN 04.04.00 has issues with DMX and I expect them to be solved for 04.04.01. Remember that a .00 release is really the first release of a platform that has lots of changes and new functionalities. There are bound to be issues after adoption. I'd stay away from 04.04 until at least .01 and probably better .02.
    Cheers,
    Peter

Peter, now that 4.4.1 is out, is the issue resolved that is cited on your home page blog? (That is, can it now display to non-logged-in users?)

    Thanks

    Steve

Yes, this has been solved. Note that you need to exclude DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/Download.aspx from the compression. I'll write about it somewhere else (and obvious I hope).
