Initially thought I had a problem with the advanced search. No matter which selections I chose, all documents were returned in the results. Finally, I realized that I was making the selections, then hitting "enter" rather than clicking the "Search" link below. In effect, I was running the simple search with no value in the text box and ignoring all the advanced search criteria I had selected.

We're rolling this out near the end of year on our corporate intranet and I've championed DNN + DMX as a viable alternative to the costly Sharepoint. I would hope this problem could be resolved in a future version or you could give me some alternative way to disable the simple search before our rollout. I'm sure this would cause confusion with our users.

    Thanks for a great product!

    Mike,
Point taken. I'll fix it. While I'm at it, I just made sure it also reacts to 'Search' in the querystring. This way you can stick a DMX on your search results page in DNN, deactivate the 'collections', 'categories', and 'my subscriptions' buttons, set the start page to search, and you have search results automatically on your DNN search results from DMX. This will be done in next patch (i.e. after 3.1.50 that is just out).
