Files not showing after upload

We have DMX 5.2.11 installed on DNN 5.5.1 under IIS 6 and it appears to be working properly. But, when we upload a file (Microsoft Word Documents) it doesn't show up until the next day or until we run the DMX.Services.Scheduled.Maintenance task that is scheduled to run every 12 hours by default. Any idea what we are doing wrong?

Is there anywhere in the documentation where the rolls of the scheduled services are covered? I'd like to know if the DMX.Services.Scheduled.Maintenance task should be scheduled to run more often (like every minute) so the files will show after an upload.

Until this is resolved, I've set DMX.Services.Scheduled.Maintenance to run every 5 minutes. This won't completely satisfy the users but it will help until we can resolve the issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Phil, It's somewhat odd that the maintenance task must run to show up content. This is absolutely not normal. Please contact me by email so I can investigate what is wrong with the installation. Peter
