Are there any special considerations that need to be made when placing DMX on a secure site?  I recently discovered that if I use the "Show Direct Link" option in DMX, that the link WORKS when the site is http, but Internet Explorer can not download the file if the link has https in it.  The error is actually that Internet Explorer can not download the file Download.aspx, which is strange considering that I'm trying to download a Word document.  Any suggestions?

I'm using DMX 5.0.1.

Thanks.

Hi Patrick,

The link points to a page which will stream the file provided you passed security. There are no direct links to content in DMX. I know of clients that do run under https and they do not report this issue. If under https are the download links also https, or are they http?

Thanks for your reply.  I tried downloading the same file in Firefox, and it went off without a hitch.  So there must be something that isn't set right in IE that's causing my problem.  When I figure it out, I will post a reply in case anyone else has run into this issue.
