I just purchased the full DMX module version 3.04.03
the installation went smoothly without any problem, but when I added it to a page it gave me this error:

    Unhandled error loading module.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unhandled Error Adding Module to ContentPane ---> System.TypeLoadException: ? at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Licensing.DnnIdentification..ctor() at b..ctor(CustomSettings& A_0) at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Controls.PortalModuleBase.c() at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Dispatch.MyInitialize() at Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Dispatch.a(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.UserControl.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.AddedControl(Control control, Int32 index) at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.Add(Control child) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

apparently there's nothing else wrong, my DNN version is 3.1.0 and I was working under HOST user rights.
    I need an urgent response.

    thanks in advance

    Michele,
Unfortunately there are some breaking changes between DNN 3.1 and DNN 3.2. This latest version of DMX has been compiled against DNN 3.2.2. How important is it for you to stay with DNN 3.1.0?
    Kind regards,
    Peter

As a follow up to Michele's question; does this mean we have to upgrade or is there a work around?

    Bill,
You will need to upgrade DNN for DMX 3.4.3 to work.
    Kind regards,

WOW! this is a major oversight in the documentation. I was just about to install the latest version on 3.1.0, and until I saw this thread had no reason to believe this was a problem. I suggest you update the various documentation files, your web site and Snowcovered to avoid this compatibility issue causing a lot of grief.

    Peter,

You didn't update the documentation or anything else to mention this MAJOR issue with the latest versions of DMX (as I highly recommended 2 months ago). Despite having posted to this forum a couple of months ago, I downloaded and installed the latest version posted tho the Patches and Hot Fixes area of Snowcovered. Guess what! Now I'm screwed. DMX no longer works at all. Thanks for that.

Is there any way to reinstall the 3.2 version and maintain the documents and meta data from the current installation?

I am in the process of making 'downlevel upgrades' (i.e. for DNN less than 3.2). Please contact me on peter@bring2mind.net about these. Let me know what platform you're running and I'll fix this for you.
