Just purchased v.4 (upgraded from v3) and did the install.  Everything seemed to work fine - the install guide double-checks for a good install all checked out & I performed the IIS setups and changes to Host Settings that were suggested.  However, I am having a number of problems:

(1) When I go to Folder / Open in Windows Explorer ... nothing happens.  It's very important that this work because our client will need to upload files in bulk.

(2) When I login as a user with full permissions to view, edit, add, approve (but who is not an administrator) and I try to add a file, the file appears to upload, and then I am "booted out" of the site (back to the login page).

Server Config: Windows 2003, IIS6, SQL 2005, DNN 4.05.04

Client Machine: Vista Ultimate, IE 7.06

Please help - we are desperate to get this up and running as part of a client extranet.

Geoff,

1. Did you check the info in the webdav manual and in the webdav forum here? Have you tried various ways to get into the webDAV part?

2. This is an issue outside of DMX. DMX does not govern or affect logins.

Peter,

I've gone thru everything that looked relevant in the forums and am at a loss as to how to resolve item #1. I have emailed you full login information. Can you please check it out and let me know if you are able to resolve this?

Thanks,

Geoff

Update: offline I verified the server was running correctly. It is now down to tuning the OS/browser of the client to handle the webDAV links.
