Hi Peter,

I upgraded from 3.x to 4.x  and everything seems to be OK except that on my own skin nothing shows in the module.

This is css skin without tables.

On a default dnn skin everything works OK but all other modules work OK on my skin.

Is that a known issue ?

Situation update:

Module works perfectly well in the same skin on one tab and doesn't on another tab.
Works in default dnn skin on another tab but doesn't in any skin on yet another page.
This is really weird and I have no clue what else to try.

I'm prepared to reinstall the module even if it means losing all files if you think this will help.

Hi Chris,
Don't re install just yet. Try to upgrade with the latest version (04.02.01) first. Make sure any white space filters are off.

Hi Chris,

I'd be surprised if it was the skin. If you can't see the UI, something is eating the JS that comes out. It is hard to say what it is. There must be something different about that tab, obviously.

What you could do is to use a tool like Fiddler to see if you can determine what happens to the scripts.

Peter,

Mystery solved but only after I did reinstall.
The culprit is my own module using ComponentArt Ticker control.
As soon as it is placed on the page below DMX things work OK.

I wonder what clashes there.

There is still a JS error about "can't move focus to the control" even when I delete my news rotator from the page.

Hi Chris,
The 'can't move focus' error is not critical and I've not been able to reproduce this consistently. It might be an Ajax timing issue, I'm not sure. In any case it does not seem to influence the working of the module.
