Hi Peter, I'm trialling DMX 4 and can't get WebDAV to work. Config is DNN 4.8.2, DMX 4.2.1, Windows Server 2003 and SQL Express. I noticed you asked someone else about SharePoint - not sure if it is important, but we also have WSS 3 running on the server. Also, the site is running as a virtual folder under Default Web Site in IIS 6 - also not sure if that is important.

Unfortunately my trial licence has run out - I had to put on hold my trial due to other priorities - but I have docs in the database that I can test with. Would welcome an extension please if that is possible?

I've checked all the requirements in the installation doc and as best as I can see all is OK.

I've also been able to access docs in the system via URL in IE, but can't open in Word or set up a Network Place.

I've installed Fiddler, but can't work out how to get the data that other people have put in their posts with similar problems.

When I set anonymous login PCs that do not login to the domain work OK, but ones that do don't - an error comes up when attempting to login the DNN web-site on these PCs. I find I need Windows Authentication for both types of PCs to login to the site.

If you'd like to login to the site, please let me know and I'd be happy to set it up so you can. Hope we can get it to work.

Thanks and kind regards, JP

Hi Jeff,

If you want I'll look with Fiddler. Send me details at peter@bring2mind.net. The headers usually tell you what program is trying to authenticate and/or is taking charge of the request. If this is anything else than DNN, then DMX cannot handle the request and hence cannot serve the document.

Peter
