Whereas when I run the same process after adding a new Item from the Menu I see the pending notification in the database. I am using the latest version 4.3.

Thanks,

Arick

I will look into this Arick. In the coming weeks I'll be examining the WebDAV component and running more tests. I have a feeling it needs some maintenance. I will take your other issue you sent by mail along with that.

Hi Arick,

You mentioned you did not see anything in the DMX_Notifications. One question about this one: do you see the 'Add' in the DMX_Log? That would narrow it down to being a problem of the notification system or of the WebDAV component.

Yes, I see the event entry in the DMX_Log table and that EntID does correctly link to the DMX_Entries table. One odd thing is for every WebDAV entry there appears to be 2 Add's in the log table for the same Entry ID. As show below:

8/18/2008 12:01:28 PM 5726 22379 Add 123
8/18/2008 12:01:29 PM 5726 22380 Add 123

Hi Arick,
I think the problem is related to your notification engine. For some reason the notifications are not sent to subscribers to the folder. This should happen normally. I think it's related to what we're discussing in this tread.
