Hey Guys,

Is there any way a DNN user role could be removed after a successful upload?  We want to sell one-by-one video uploads, and had the idea to have them purchase and subscribe to a DNN user role through our cart, but would need a way for that role to be removed after the upload is completed so they wouldn't have access to upload multiple files.

Is there any way this could be done through DMX, or would you have any other suggestions on how this could be done?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Dustin,

Rather than removing the role I'd try it through a different route. I'd create my own upload page and stick the file into DMX using the DMX API. It is not overly complex to do and it is 'neater' IMO.

I also have a solution where a user has his own data entry form with a 'DMX file' type field. This was developed for applications like where a user can enter a CV and some parameters (name, address etc). The CV file would be transferred to DMX where security was set. The user could only upload that single field, not multiple.

My 2cts,

Peter
