Hi Peter,

DMX search results has stopped working in our test environment.

We were using IndexServiceSearchProvider and it had been working better than Lucene(alot more hits when searching).

However today our DMX search results return nothing.

To be fair, I was curious to see if the ISSP actually leveraged the native Index Service on the web host in order to work. I stopped the Index Service on the web host, and did a search. Found Nothing. Turned it back on. Found nothing. Reset IIS. Searched and found nothing. I do not know if Search was working before I stopped the Index Service or not. I only know it was working wonderfully 2 days ago, in ISSP mode.

I ran the reindex script in ISSP mode (with all successes) but no search results can be found still.

I switched providers to Lucene, reindexed again. No search results.

I found a similar issue in another thread, and tried deleting the files in portals/0/dmx/lucene, then reindexing in Lucene.I got all successes returned, again.

However this lucene directory remains empty after the reindex. And no search results.

Using the Search inside the DMX module also does not work any longer, as you might expect.

Another curious part of this is that when I reindex now(in any provider), the reindex appears to happen almost immediately, despite the thousands of entry id's it lists. When I originally indexed in Lucene and then ISSP, this took 20-35 minutes.

Any ideas?
