These are the follwing versions installed on my server:

DotNetNuke Version:
The DotNetNuke application version you are running 04.09.02

Document Exchange Professional The Document Exchange allows you to securely store documents anywhere and organize them with DNN. You can finely tune permissions, display, and approval. 05.00.04

Hi Rajesh,

This is an error when the client is not correctly configured for WebDAV. Make sure to check out the webdav manual that is under the help menu to see what you need to do to allow webdav to work on the client side. Note you also need Office installed for that.

Note you can also opt to download a document and open it. In that case you don't open it 'live' on the server but instead a local copy on your own PC.

Hi Rajesh,

It's described in the WebDAV help file on the Help menu of DMX.

Hi Rajesh,

That is the only solution I can offer. This is a client side issue, not a server side issue. DNN/DMX do not control what happens on the client. That is impossible. For more details you need to turn to Microsoft documentation on IE security and starting Office from the browser. The key is that IE must be able to start an unsigned activex and that Office is installed.
