Sometimes, if I upload a large amount of files via WebDav, and maybe if the files do not all copy correctly, I receive the following error when I try to open in Web Explorer:

Documents in this folder are not available.  The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may be preventing a connection to the server.

I believe that the error message is a rather generic error, and does not necessarily mean what it states.  When this error occurs, it only goes away if I edit the web.config file to change time stamp, and recompile.  Does that mean that DMX is somehow out of sync with the filesystem?

Thanks.

Hi Patrick,

I guess what happens is some caching issue (because usually a client caches what it expects on the server) which is one of the things you might resolve with a reset. You can also try to recycle the application pool to see if this helps. My guess is that at one point Windows has lost track of what is happening and the calls are no longer properly handled. It's hard to guess. We'll keep tuning the module when we can replicate this kind of thing.
