Hi Peter,

I am assigning different root categories to files, and I am trying to figure out if I can use some sort of "search" function to find certain files via their category cross references.

This is best explained by visualizing a simple venn diagram.  Pretend I have categories "black" and "flat".  If I wanted to find file that were both "black" and "flat", how would I search for it?  Is this even possible in DMX 5?

Hi Glenn,

No, not in the standard release. But it could be added on top of it in some sort of custom search screen. It will probably mean a bit of programming, but I can't see why it can't be done.

Hello Peter,

Is there any way we could hire you to get these features functional ? I'd like to be able to perform these features:

1. In Custom attributes - have the possibility to have multiple drop down lists for multiple selections (for example, i'd like to search a document in regards to its associated products and/or applications (can be many for both).

2. Find a document per category, and have a document associated with more than one category.
