Open in windows explorer

I am using DMX 5 & DNN 4.9.1. After the DMX installation, there is a default folder named "Document Exchange". Then I created a folder structure like this "Document Exchange -> IT -> Document". I use the menu command "open in windows explorer" to open the Documents folder successfully . The path is http://hostname/dmxdav.axd/IT/Document/ But if I use "open in windows explorer" to open the IT folder. It opened http://hostname/dmxdav.axd Does this behave normal ? and only can use WedDAV in the sub-directory ?

Hi Chu, Yes, it should go straight to the folder. Note we're talking here about a path ("/IT/Document/") in DMX, not on the hard disk. Another note: WebDAV depends in part on the client. We cannot vouch for every variation of WebDAV client that is out there and Windows has been quirky in WebDAV support. But the scenario you describe is new to me. Normally Windows (Vista, XP) opens the web folder correctly. Peter
