Hi, we're using DMX 5.0.4 and Shortlist 2.1.1.

Now when I do a search, it will only show results from the DMX module, and not from the shortlist,
while in fact I want it just the other way around.

The main DMX module is used for management of the documents, and should not be found by the other users.
The shortlist modules are shown to the 'other' users, and should be found by the search engine.

Is there any way I can do this?

Just looking at the modules, I can't actually see wheter 1 is the shortlist, and the other is the main module.

In the first one, the settings show "Gebruik naam als map" and the module is only readable and editable by the administrator.

In the second one, the settings show "templateview.ascx" and the module is readable by everyone and editable by the administrator.

The funny thing is, the first module gets found, the second doesn't.
So what am I doing wrong?

Hi Marnix,

Shortlist is just a window into DMX content. The search searches DMX content so also what's inside the shortlist window. What you're probably after is that the user gets directed to the shortlist rather than the main DMX. This is not possible. But there are workarounds.

The user is directed to the module/page that is specified in the Main Options under default DMX. You can set this to any DMX instance. What I suggest is that you stick a DMX on a public page and set the UI to template view. YOu can even remove the page from the menu so people won't be drawn to it. Regardless, users only see what they're allowed to see. So if you set that as default DMX, users will be taken there from the search results page.
