Peter,
I recently purchased Document Exchange for a customer and I am having some issues with permissions and I hoped you could help.
The domain is: http://www.RecReports.com
The site allows purchasing departments for university sports departments to share information.
I sent an email with the login credentials if you would like to review the configuraiton.
I have read the documentation and forums multiple times but for some reason I am not understanding the architecture of the application. Based on my understanding, I want a single collection for the site which has the following categories:
Aquatics
Architecture & Design
Facility & Informal Recreation
Fitness
Intramural Sports
Risk Management
Software & IT
Sports Club
Student Development & Resources
Outdoor Recreation
GA Thesis & Projects
I setup the admin page as indicated in the documentation at:
http://www.recreports.com...e/en-US/Default.aspx
and the client facing page is located at:
http://www.recreports.com...e/en-US/Default.aspx
I want to set the permissions at the highest level in the tree so that registered users can add documents to the site. I would like the documents to go into a pending status until reviewed by authorized personnel.
For the life of me I can’t figure out how to do this. It seems like I am misunderstanding something, or the documentation is out of sync with the application. Is it possible for you to login and have a look at the permissions please or send me a reference in the documentation on how to do this??
Thank you in advance for your help!
Regards
Jeff
