Hi,

I'm facing a weird behavior with the search:

  1. I have a document whih has "test" as title and "42" as keyword.
  2. If I search after it with the "title contains test" OR "keywords contains 42", everyhting is fine.
  3. Disctinct search on separate fields works as well.
  4. But if I type "title contains test" AND "keywords contains 42", the engine returns nothing.
  5. Even a simple search on the title with combine set as "AND" fails.

Did I miss something?

Thank you,

Stéphane.

Hi Stéphane,

I'll make a note of this and try to replicate.

Hi Stéphane,

I could not replicate this. I did exactly the same as you, but it worked for me.

Note I was using DMX 5.2.

 Hi Peter,

Any news on this issue? As I told you that's a very critical one for our customer.

Do you know when the 05.02.03 version will be published? Or could you provide a hot-fix in the meantime?

Best regard,

Stéphane.

Hi Peter,

I applied the update and now my custom search engine leads to no result although there are records in the SearhResults table.

I saw that you changed the API by introducing a new DMXUser. Here's my code to query the result, maybe I did something wrong:

(The DefaultNodeIs is "0")

Thank for you help,

Stéphane.

Hi Peter,

Never mind it was a wrong casting on my side.
But did you notice that "not contain" option doesn't work??

Best regard,
Stéphane.

Hi Stéphane,

The search engine is on the list for yet another overhaul. I want to revise the "advanced" search and break it off into its own screen. At that point I'll look into this. Either 5.3 or 5.4.

Hi Peter,

Is that means that the issue with "Not contains" would not be fixed until the next relase?

Best regard,
Stéphane.
