WebDAV Stopped Working - Authentication?

I upgraded our install to 5.02.02 from 4.xx The installation did not show any errors.

Now, when trying to open folders in Explorer, I get an error saying:

\\portal\cleint1 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.

The network path is not available.

 

This was working before the upgrade. I have not been able to solve the problem using any notes I have found.

Hi Jeff,

Check out the "debugging webdav using fiddler" blog post on this site. Send me an analysis file to look at. I can't think of any reason off hand why it would stop working.

I think you need to better publish the lack of support for WebDAV for child portals starting with 5.02.02 (?). I'm sure there are a few others in the same situation I am in. I can't realistically convert all my child portals to root portals, so, as you noted in our emails, I have lost the ability to use WebDAV. That was the primary reason for using the product.
