Search stopped working: Parameter Name: Reader is null

I had the search for DMX 5 all set up and working fine.  It was returning results to the DMX module and the site search page with no trouble.  As of today, it has stopped working and I am getting the error you see below.  The only thing that changed with the site is that I attached the DNN database to the SQL server through management studio and changed the connection string from "User Instance=True" to "User Instance=False".  Everything else on the DNN site is still working.  Please help...

This turned out to be an SQL configuration issue. The user has resolved this since.
