Do you have any instruction to enable pdf support in Windows 2008 R2 64 bit?

First I think it's the same with steps to enable pdf in windows 7 64 bit:

1. Download and install the adobe PDF IFilter version 9 for 64 bit.

2. Register the path to adobe PDF IFilter folder in PATH environment variables.

But when I tried the same steps in windows 2008 R2 64 bit, I still cannot search the PDF document.

Hi,

No I don't have additional info about this. This is the domain of windows administration and we are .net experts. Please consult online information about Indexing Service, Acrobat iFilter and your windows version.

After further try, the search is actually working but the problem is using case sensitive. Do you know how to make the search not case-sensitive?

It depends on the search engine, not DMX. DMX feeds it a string and the search engine decides what to do. AFAIK there is no control over case sensitivity in the search engines used by DMX (Lucene and Indexing Service).
