Hi,

First of all my configuration:

- DNN 05.01.02

- AD Integrated autentication

- Latest version of DMX

I've managed to open directly in Word documents using WebDAV. The problem arise when I try to save it back to the server. I get a 401 (unhautorized) error. The only way to let it work is to enable write permission for all users on DMX.

this is the log of fiddler:

If I configure webdrive with username and password (AD) everything works.

Can you help me?

Hi Edoardo,

The AD is throwing this off. You can see the WWW-Authenticate: NTLM. That means the login challenge is in reaction to that. Although some customers have gotten AD to work in conjunction with WebDAV I'm not aware of how this can be done. The webdav calls are being caught by the AD authentication and this blocks the webdav component from receiving the call. I believe it can only work if the login for DNN and AD are exactly the same.

Hi Peter,

The problem is that I do use the same exact username for DNN and AD. So I'm I missing something in configuring WebDAV?

Thanks

Edoardo

Edoardo

Could you share what you did? I'll be setting this up on our Intranet with AD enabled.

I'm with Phillip.... Can we get Edoardo to tell us what he did to fix his issue?

Peter,
Is there some way to get Edoardo to tell us what he did to fix his issue?

I have had this issue for months now without any help from Peter or Bring2Mind. I cannot get WebDAV to work in our environment. I have been involved in several forum threads here on Bring2Mind without any resolution.

Basicly, Peter, you have been no help. What does my company need to do to get a refund for the money we have given to you? Without the WebDAV capabilites, DMX provides nothing more than several other far less expensive modules provide!
