Hello,

I assume that I can install Document Exchange on DotNetNuke Community Edition.
We were thinking to buy the Pro edition, because the Community one doesn't have content approval. I have read that Document Exchange has content approval. Can we use that feature for approving HTML content that we create for our portal, or is only for DOC, PDF or other kind of downloadable document formats?
Can the Document Exchange module replace the content approval feature of the DotNetNuke Pro edition? The only reason so far to upgrade to Pro was this, but if we switch to Pro, we need to renew every year and if there is not enough budget at some point I am not sure how easy would be to return to Community version.

Are there any features of Document Exchange module that are available only on DotNetNuke Pro and not on the Community version?

Thank you,
Steven

Hi Steven,

DMX's content approval only concerns DMX content. In fact all of DMX's features are isolated to the module itself.

DMX runs on DNN PE as on CE. There is no difference in how DMX operates or its feature set between the two DNN versions.
