I have integrated DMX with DNN search and everything is working fine except one configuration point.

When I put a word in the DNN search field, files, hyperlinks or even folders are being displayed. My problem is that my search is oriented files and hyperlinks because I want to show direct links to files and give the possibility to download it.

In other words, I would like folders not to be displayed with the results. I have edited the search.ascx file and added a display condition setting for folder. It works but for example, if on the first result page I have got 10 results (2 files + 8folders), while the folders aren't visible, only two files are displayed (and not ten).

The problem is that my action is after the query, and the grid has already been filled...

Do you have a suggestion to do what I want ?

Hi Nicolas,

With the partial source version you have access to the codebehind of the Search.ascx. This would make it easier for you to make your own search module to suit your needs. It appears everyone would like their own flavor of this and the one in DMX is very generic.
