Hi, Peter...

I just attempted to install both the 6.0.0 and 6.0.1 upgrades and received the same error with both:

SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'Thumbnail' in table 'dbo.DMX_Entries' is specified more than once......

Any thoughts? I tried 6.0.1 first, then attempted 6.0.0 thinking maybe I should to upgrade in order. Neither worked though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I didn't see it in the ReadMe, but does the new 6 fix the Javascript issue that IE throws when you right-click on the folders?

Thanks
~Carole =)

Hi Carole,

You've tried to reinstall after a failed install. If you have a failed install you need to roll back to the old version of the database. A failed install can be due to the fact that DNN timed out during installation (see DMX installation manual about that) or because custom tunings were done on the DNN database.

Background:
The error states that the column "thumbnail" that it is trying to create already exists. This means that this script has already run. DNN only runs new scripts when installing. So this means that DNN believes the DMX is still pre 5.4 when the 5.4 script has actually already run. That can only be due to a prior install. DNN has no fallback for this kind of thing. You need to make a DB backup when you upgrade a module. It is that simple.
