Hi,

We just upgraded to 6.0.3 (from 5.3.7, I do believe), and whenever I run a search, the modal returns an "input string was not in a correct format" message. It does this using Lucene or Windows Indexing (which is what we use). I can't get any results to return.

Any thoughts? (I have a screenshot if it would help)
Thanks!

In helping Carole debug this we found it only happens when using the SQL indexing process. I revalidated all of the configuration and setup we had gone through previously to get this working was still in place. I also tried running it under Full trust to test and the error still triggers.

I also went over the items we had found to make this work from our previous thread and that did not resolve it either.

I believe the customer is using the ISRemoteSqlSearchProvider which was not carried on to version 6. If the customer is indeed using that please contact me by email and I'll see what we can do to resolve.

We were using a remote SQL server to perform indexing which was why we were getting this error. With Peter's help we were able to get Lucene working under Medium trust and migrated to using that instead. My new thread "How To: Setup iFilters & Medium Trust" explains how to do this.
