Desktopmodules/bring2mind/dmx/search.asx does not exist in a new installation.

the directory and many of the other files are present and correct

without this i cant add the dmx search to the dnn search page

any idea why this would be missing?

Hi Gary,

It has been moved to "Views/Search.ascx". There was some cluttering in the main folder which needed sorting. The upgrade script should have relabeled any modules using that as control. You should be able to select the search.ascx from the dropdown in the module's settings under the UI heading. Can you see that?

Hi Peter

No its not there, i'm on dnn v 06.00.01, the only options on the modules catagories are Admin, Common and All

The only items that have any reference to anything to do with search in any catagory are the DNN Search input and DNN Search results

Host>Extensions only contains the DNN search pair as well

As an aside, the first time i ran the DMX script it tried to add it to the search results page, it added somthing but then all that did was show an error message that it couldnt find search.ascx

Once i deleted it from search results page the script wont put it back either, although it says 'success' in the right places when it runs, nothing appears on the page, i was going to try and edit what it did add to look into the 'view' folder for search.ascx but i cant get it back now?

Regards
Gary

Hi Gary,

I'm talking about *DMX* 6.1.x. The latest version is 6.1.3. What version are you using?
