DMX 6.1.5 - not working, timeouts/logging in issues etc.

So, I updated to the latest version of the DMX Document Management tool (6.1.5) and my entire website has buggered up. I always clone the server, before running any kind of update.

Clone:
Can login as Super Admin no problems.
Website is running fast
No problems at all with DMX (sync'ing etc)

Live (with new DMX installed, nothing else):
Can no longer log in as Super Admin anymore.

DMX SyncFolder job reporting: DMX SyncFolder Task Failed folder sync. Message: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.


I'm sure there are other issues, but I'm not going to spend all day trying to find them.

The entire live server will be rolled back to cloned version.

Hmm, what could have gone wrong?

Yup, completely uninstalled DMX manually, and reinstalled the previous version we had (6.00.03). Everything is back and running normal again.

Seems like 6.01.05 is unstable??

Sometimes it's like searching for a needle in the haystack. From what I read I have no clue what could have gone wrong. I'm not aware of certain "potentially performance degrading" interventions between 6.0 and 6.1. But obviously some things have changed. Mostly to *enhance* performance.

I am not sure how we can go about digging into this given that you've had to roll back. But if you ever have an environment where it reproduces I'd be happy to take a look.
