DNN: 06.02.07 (3)
DMX; 6.1.5

Seems to be a path issue? Can upload documents but cannot display/download/directlink/view them.

Example:

A critical error has occurred. Could not find a part of the path 'c:\1\file_20130604_144339_EwUVvw_0.resources'.

This means that the code that is responsible for retrieving the file from where it was stored can't find it any more. Can you go to the storage settings and double check that that is OK? I.e. it believes content is stored straight under C:\ or C:\1. I can't tell. But by default the setting is such that it stores under portals/[id]/dmx.

Default (under Portals/[id]/DMX)

When looking on the server -- documents uploaded since upgrade have gone here:
C:\Inetpub\PLIO_DNN\Portals\0\DMX\1\

Not sure where the original document were stored ? Can I find out?

With SQL provider they're stored in SQL. The other new documents are in the folder you've found. But if you get errors downloading documents from before you moved the installation, you'll need to trace where they were stored and move them to the mentioned folder.

"Not sure where the original document were stored ? Can I find out?" If you never touched the storage settings, they should have gone to portals/[id]/DMX where the installation was before.

We are running into the same issue, with the latest upgrade not finding the documents.

We cloned our site, 5.6.8, and upgraded it to 6.7.6. We then upgraded the module from 5.3.3 to the latest - 6.1.5. Since it is a clone, we looked back at storage settings, and it was default, which is the new one as well.

The files are there, with both setup the same.

Any idea what might cause this issue?
