I've got a few questions/problems with a new installation.

1) Notifications: I can receive Audit notifications from DMX fine. I need to send notifications on Add of documents only. I've configured the Notifications screen as seen in this screenshot:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/bcn5ush4jla5g3q/notifications.jpg

I then login as a user and subscribe to a folder. I logout. I login as the Host and upload 4 documents with permissions to all users to view. No Subscriber email is ever received. I've tested two different accounts (one Exchange and one Gmail account). Both accounts are working. In researching this problem on the forum the only solution I have not attempted is regarding the Logging.ascx.resx file. I do not seem to have this file in the directory the other resx files are store (such as SharedResources).

2) Set Root folder. I'm deploying this solution across several different sites in the same portal. Each site should only see their files and folders. I'm not able to determine where I set the root folder.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Is this on a DMX 6.1.7? There was a change in the notifications mechanism on that version to cope with a breaking change in DNN 7.2.

Yes. I downloaded the version I'm using on Monday of this week.

Are you sure the notifications service is running (Host > Schedule)?

About #2 "I'm deploying this solution across several different sites in the same portal."
I don't follow. In DNN vocabulary a "site" = "portal". If you're talking about different pages in a portal, you set the root to show in the module's settings.
